Recycled Structural Bridge & Wharf Timbers

Timberzoo stocks a wide range of big-section beams and uprights salvaged from bridge, wharf and jetty replacement. In recent years this has included projects such as Port Welshpool jetty, Portarlington jetty, Central Pier, North Wharf in Docklands, road bridges in Gippsland, outback NSW and our own Barwon Bridge back in 2011. Many of these timbers retain an acceptable structural index and can be re-used for pergolas and outdoor structures - or lightly loaded beams and posts in residential and hospitality projects. The rest can be used in landscaping projects - retaining walls, fences, driveways, sleepers, palisades, totems, playgrounds and bollards.
