Refunds, Returns & Timber Characteristics

At Timberzoo, we take pride in our range of recycled timber and NFG hardwoods, each with unique characteristics that reflect their history. Please note: We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases or for traits that are typical of recycled timber and common in our inventory. Dressed recycled timber naturally features marks, grain variations, and other traits once considered defects - but today, they are valued as part of the timber’s legacy. We encourage customers to inspect timber in person before purchasing. Read our full guidelines here. While we carefully consider all claims, we recommend selecting your timber with care to ensure it meets your expectations.

Building in Bushfire-Prone Areas

New planning regulations for bushfire-prone areas do not ban the use of timber, even at higher Bushfire Attack Levels (BALs). Instead, the guidelines focus on choosing the right species and ensuring proper building design for fire resistance.
