Our more rustic options, Sawtooth, Wirebrush and Chalkface boards have a wide appeal in commercial retail and hospitality fit outs and are popular in residential projects for variously - a fireplace nook, feature wall, mudroom, storage room, loft, study, cellar, shed, workshop, studio and man-cave. Recycled Messmate Shadowline Lining Boards Dressed and profiled tongue and groove boards with a 4mm shadowline. A modern, but also mid-century, retro-style for whole rooms, ceilings or feature walls. Appearance grade is low-intensity recycled features and moderate-intensity natural features. Messmate is a medium density light brown timber with tonal variations and dark gumlines. Boards are milled from salvaged house rafters from house demolition in Geelong and Melbourne suburbs.
Recycled Hardwood Sawtooth Lining Boards Boards with a retained aged and oxidized or weathered sawn face which can be precision joined without lap or tongue and groove. Gauged to be true size and straightness with dressed edge and reverse face. Primary surface may tend to be lightly kissed and bruised by planer blades to highlight original sawn kerf of timber.
Recycled Douglas Fir Wirebrush Lining Boards Boards with a retained aged and oxidized or weathered sawn face which can be precision joined without lap or tongue and groove. Recycled Douglas Fir Chalkface Lining Boards Recycled Douglas Fir boards with a white acrylic painted surface skimmed by planer blades to retain most of the painted cover but allow the appearance of dressed timber patches and layered aged surfaces. The overall presentation is a random antique and limed finish on walls or ceiling.
Recycled Messmate Overlay Flooring / Lining Boards Dressed and profiled tongue and groove boards with a flush fit used for flooring as well as wall, counter or ceiling lining. Particularly effective for creating timber bulkheads, benches and boxing around beams and columns. Low-intensity recycled features and moderate intensity natural features. Messmate is light brown timber with dark gumlines and tonal variations in batch. Boards are milled from salvaged house rafters from house demolition in Geelong and Melbourne suburbs.
